Meeting of Deputy Minister for Private Sector and Industries Development of Ministry of Industry and Commerce with Kandahar Industrialists.

Honored Mr. Zuhoruddin Shirzada Deputy Minister for Private Sector and Industries Development of Ministry of Industry and Commerce met with Kandahar Industrialists and Cotton Exporters on Nov, 10, 2018 at his office.
The meeting focused on the problems of the cotton industry and its export to Pakistan. At the meeting, cotton industrialists in Kandahar province said: "About a hundred vehicles operating the cotton export agent on the border with Pakistan have been stopped and according to the various reasons Pakistanis do not allow these cars to enter their country. "
Honored Mr. Zuhoruddin Shirzada Deputy Minister for Private Sector and Industries Development of Ministry of Industry and Commerce referring to the problems encountered in exporting cotton to Pakistan, he said: "In order to solve this problem, we will discuss with the responsible government departments and other institutions and resolve it. "
Mr. Shirzada also said that the problem of exporting cotton with Pakistan should be radically resolved.
It is noteworthy that Afghanistan exports about 50 metric tons of cotton annually to Pakistan and is considered to be the country's largest cotton market in the region.
