The first meeting on identifying of challenges and problems for exporting goods especially fresh fruits and vegetables of the country with the presence of respected border police director of Ministry of Interior, representatives of Spin Boldak Border Police, Islam Qala Border, Torkham, Ghulam Khan Border, representatives of Ministry of Finance, Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Chamber of Industries and Mines, Private Sector Directorate, Entrepreneur’s Board Director, Director of Fresh fruits and Vegetables Union, director of Carpets Export and Production, the  meeting held under the chairmanship of Respected Ms. Elaha Shaheen Director of Exports Promotion Agency of Ministry of Industry and Commerce at the border customs.
During this meeting, they have discussed regarding the issues as; Stop of fruits and vegetables carriers at the borders, rotten of fruits for willful reasons, short span working timings at the border customs, and non-cooperation’s between stake holder organizations.
At the end of meeting, decision was taken regarding the fruits and vegetable carries to be prioritized to pass the borders, working time increased form 13 hrs to 14 hrs, and for the solution of challenges, the meetings should be held every quarter of the year, in order to solve the problems from the basis.
