Higher education supports domestic products

The leadership and students of Kabul University were held a meeting to market and support domestic products. The meeting was attended by the Kabul University Leadership Board, Respected Mr. Ajmal Hamid Abdul Rahimzai Deputy Minister of Admin and Financial affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, private sector representatives and a number of students were also present.
Professor Mr. Hamidullah Farooqi advisor to the president for higher education and the head of the Kabul University highlighted the importance of domestic products, promising Kabul University to support this field of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce's plans as a partner organization.
The Deputy Minister of Admin and Financial affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce Mr. Ajmal Hamid Abdul Rahimzai has provided information on the important programs, functions, activities and achievements, future plans and recently export of watermelons to Azerbaijan.
Current year, Ministry of Industry and Commence is committed to increase exports to $ 1 billion USD and increase this figure in the coming years.
Honored Mr. Khanjan Alokozai Acting Director of Chamber of Commerce and Industries expressed his satisfaction at the support of the government, especially Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
It should be noted that the government, based on the Afghanistan Peace and Development Framework document, is planning to make Afghanistan from an imports country to exports country.
