Joint meeting of Industrialists and Traders of Nangarhar and Balkh Provinces

A joint meeting of Industrialists and Traders of Nangarhar and Balkh provinces with the presence of deputy governors, officials of the departments of industry and commerce, industrialists, businessmen and women entrepreneurs of the province was held, aiming to further cooperate in industry and trade, support the private sector and solve problems of industrialists and traders in of Mazar-e-Sharif.

In this meeting, the officials of Nangarhar and Balkh Departments of Industry and Commerce, emphasized on continuing cooperation and sharing industrial and trade experiences between industrialists and traders of the province and said, the private sector of the province can cooperate on the opportunities and challenges of industry and trade.

Mr. Mohammad Hassan Mohsen, Head of Industry and Commerce of Nangarhar Province said, with continuing cooperation and sharing business experiences, it will provide the room for the growth of the economy and domestic production and employment.

He stressed the importance of the ports of Hairatan and Torkham and called on the authorities to pay more attention to the process of simplifying exports and imports.

This is while that a joint three-day exhibition, organized by Khwahar Hamshahri program between Nangarhar and Balkh provinces in Mazar-e-Sharif, manufacturing industries and other products were exhibited.

The MoIC has always tried to provide more facilities for industrialists and businessmen as a policy-making body to attract investment in the country.
