Inauguration of the Bio-metric System in the Central Business Registration and Intellectual Property General Directorate of Ministry of Industry and Commerce

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN: On Sunday, 02, 02, 2020 His Excellency Mr. Ajmal Ahmady Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and Senior Advisor to the President in Banking and Financial affairs with representatives of the private sector has inaugurated the Bio-metric System of Business Licenses of Central Business Registration and Intellectual Property General Directorate.

This system is a serious need for easy access to information about clients who want to obtain a license.

The Central Business Registration and Intellectual Property General Directorate of Ministry of Industry and Commerce has been able to distribute 19,000 Business Licenses in 2019, which shows 5000 more licenses has been issued than 2018.

Similar to Kabul, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has been able to implement major reforms in Herat, Kandahar and Balkh provinces as well.
