Emphasis and Commitment to Afghanistan-Pakistan Private Sector in Joint Investment

The Afghanistan-Pakistan Private Sector Online Meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, representatives of the country's private sector, the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce, and Industry, and the Pakistan Private Sector to discuss joint investment opportunities between the two countries.
The meeting, organized by the commercial attaché Office in Peshawar, Pakistan, emphasized the commitment to joint investment in the textile, health services, solar energy, cement, and sugar sectors, in favor of both countries' economic growth.
Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, welcomed the Pakistani private sector interest in investing in Afghanistan, saying that now is the best opportunity for investors from both countries to jointly invest in different sectors.
Mr. Binshah added, the leadership of both countries has made several efforts and meetings to review, amend and sign a new contract to start APTTA, which has made significant progress, and soon with the signing of this contract, traders from both countries will have access to Central and South Asian markets.
Moreover, new investment opportunities in Afghanistan were shared with Pakistani investors and they also expressed their interest in joint investment in different sectors.
