The private sector supports in providing primary materials needed by the citizens of the country in an emergency situation

Coordination meeting between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the private sector to prepare for the supply of raw materials needed by citizens in an emergency chaired by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce attended in person and online with the Afghanistan Chambers Federation leadership.

In this meeting, the MoIC leadership and Afghanistan Chambers Federation leadership emphasized more coordination between government institutions and the private sector to get prepare for the supply of primary needs by the citizens of the country in an emergency.

In this meeting, the representatives of different private sectors shared their problems in the current situation with the MoIC leadership and asked for the cooperation of this ministry to solve their problems.

Moreover, they also stated that businessmen and industrialists, in cooperation with government organizations are fully ready to provide the primary needs of the citizens in an emergency.

Mr. Ghoryani said, all the problems of the private sector will be noted and will be contributed with His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in cooperation with the Ministries of Finance, Economy and Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, is preparing a plan for the provision for providing the needed primary materials by the citizens of the country in an emergency.
