Afghanistan Invites Turkey to Hold Exhibition of Products in Afghanistan

The IEA's Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, during the opening ceremony of Istanbul Halal International Expo 2024, expressed appreciation to the Republic of Turkey and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for holding the Istanbul Halal Expo 2024, describing the event as the largest trade program in the Islamic world. He invited the high-ranking government and private sector delegations from the Republic of Turkey to hold an exhibition of their domestic products in Afghanistan.
Additionally, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, talked about existing opportunities in Afghanistan and invited participants of the exhibition to invest in various sectors and visit the country’s tourism attractions and historical gains.
Mr. Alhaj Azizi stated, that the Afghanistan delegation's participation in the event is aimed at creating new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between Afghanistan, the Republic of Turkey, and regional countries, in order to introduce Afghanistan’s halal products, and services to the global markets, as well as to attract foreign investments to Afghanistan, particularly from Republic of Turkey.
It is noteworthy, that the Istanbul Halal International Expo 2024, is one of the largest exhibitions at the regional and global levels, in which 45 countries, including Afghanistan, will showcase their domestic products within 450 booths across various sectors, for four days.
