Minister of Industry and Commerce visits Bakhtar Flour Mills

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce visited Bakhtar Flour Mills and discussed the opportunities and challenges of the company's products with its officials.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce was accompanied by Mr. Shirbaz Kaminzadah, General Director of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, industrialists,, and factory owners of Pul-e-Charkhi Industrial Park.
During the visit, the Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the purpose of the visit is to receive the problems, challenges, and opportunities of industrialists and solve their problems.
Mr. Ghoryani added the ministry is working to address the challenges facing industrialists and their production capacity, increase tariffs on similar imports to make Afghanistan's manufacturing industry more self-sufficient.
During his visit, the Minister of Industry and Commerce asked the citizens to use domestic products to provide the ground for the country's economic growth.
Bakhtar Flourmills, by supplying the required wheat from inside and outside the country; Produces different types of flour (soy flour, fermented and bran flour) and supplies it to the domestic markets.
During the last 24 hours, the company produced 200 tons of flour and sold most of it to the World Food Organization in Afghanistan, providing jobs to 100 people.
