His Excellency Mr. Ajmal Ahmady’s visit to the Russian Federation
His Excellency Mr. Ajmal Ahmady acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, has traveled to Russia to attend the World Trade Organization conference and meet with Russian officials and Afghan businessmen residing there.
During the visit, Mr. Ahmady met with Mr. Maksim Stanislavovich Oreshkin Russian Minister of Economic Development to discuss strengthening economic cooperation and expanding Afghan-Russian trade.
In a separate meeting with the Russian Federation's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the acting minister of Industry and Commerce also talked about the expansion of the first Kabul-Moscow air corridor and urged Russian investors to invest in various sectors in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry pledged to Mr. Ahmady acting Minister of Industry and Commerce for holding an Afghan products exhibition and Afghan-Russian trade dialogue in Moscow.
On the other hand, Mr. Ajmal Ahmady met with afghan businessmen in Moscow and discussed business problems with them.
Another purpose of H.E Ahmady’s visit to the Russian Federation was to attend a meeting of the world trade organization in Moscow, capital city of Russian.
The acting Minister of Industry and Commerce addressed the opportunities and challenges of Afghan trade in line with the World Trade Organization and its impact on the country's trade.
Mr. Ahmady also shared a televised interview with Russia's Sputnik News and provided information on Afghan business developments.
