Donation of 10 thousand oxygen capsules to COVID-19 Patients

Following a request from the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, to national businessmen to assist in providing the oxygen needed at COVID-19 hospitals in Afghanistan; Mr. Haji Khairuddin Mayel and Mr. Kamal Nabizadah, two national businessmen, bought more than 10,000 oxygen capsules from abroad and donated to COVID-19 hospitals in Mazar-e-Sharif and Kabul.
Mr. Ghoryani, while thanking the two businessmen, industrialists, and investors of the country, also asked them to cooperate in the current critical situation to provide the needed oxygen for COVID-19 patients.
Mr. Ghoryani stated that more than 30 oxygen plants in Kabul and the provinces supply oxygen to COVID-19 hospitals.
According to Mr. Ghoryani, the MoIC has provided all the facilities to increase oxygen production in the country.
Mr. Ghoryani, emphasizes that the Consumer Protection Commission, headed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, has launched market research to prevent oxygen hoarding and those who hoard will be dealt with following the law.
