Increase in dairy production in Daikondi Province

Nawras and Bahar dairy factories started with an initial capital of 15 million Afghanis in Daikondi province have increased their production levels.
The two newly opened dairy factories are run by 20 women from the province.
These factories were put into operation in 2020 with the financial support of Oxfam Institute (Rural Livelihood Program) in the center of the province and now about seven types of dairy products, including yogurt, cheese, buttermilk, cream, butter, and clarified butter, are produced and packaged.
The officials of these factories say, they supply their products to all parts of Daikondi and are trying to find suitable markets in other provinces and increase their production level as well.
