Proposed amendments on the Regulation of Chambers Affairs Law was finalized

Joint meeting on finalizing the proposed amendments to the Law on Organization of Chambers Affairs chaired by H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, with the participation of Mr. Mohammad Ismail Ghazanfar, Head of Afghanistan Chambers Federation, Mr. Tawakol Ahmadyar head of trade and investment chamber, Ms. Afsana Rahimi Head of commerce and industry of women’s chamber, Mr. Khan Mohammad Frotan Head of Agriculture and Livestock products Chamber, Chairman of the Afghan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock, Mr. Noorulhaq Omari, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of craftsmen and shopkeepers, Rahimullah Samandar, Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industry and Mines, Hojjatullah Fazli, Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan, Abdul Qadir Bahman, the executive director of the World Trade Center in Afghanistan and other members of the leadership of the federation and sectoral chambers were held in the conference hall of this ministry.
At this meeting, the disputes that remained unresolved in the proposed amendments to the Law on the Organization of Chamber Affairs in the last six sessions were resolved by a majority of votes.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Industry and Commerce stressed the importance of creating coordination between the federation and the chambers of commerce, saying that reaching a consensus and a common opinion on disputes in the law regulating the affairs of chambers is in the interest of the private sector.
He added, by finalizing this law; An important step is taken for the development of industry and trade in the country.
According to the agenda, the leadership of the federation and the chambers of the sectors, expressed their views on the differences, emphasizing the unity of the private sector and overcoming the challenges.
