The 9th High Level Meeting of the WTO Inter-Ministerial Committee and the Trade Facilitation Agreement was held

The 9th high-level meeting of the WTO Inter-Ministerial Committee and the Trade Facility Agreement was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Karim Malikyar, Acting Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, with the participate of members of this committee from government and private sectors at the conference hall of this ministry

Mr. Abdul Karim Malikyar said, Afghanistan became a member of the WTO in 2016 with a series of commitments to integrate into regional and international trade.

Mr. Malikyar added, the commitments to this organization are important for the purpose of carrying out reforms in the country's economic sector and will be seriously pursued by the Presidency and the related Ministers.

The meeting discussed on how to implement the obligations of the ministries and responsible organizations for 2016-2020, the general report on the implementation of the schedule of commitments and agreements, customs facilities, finalization of laws, regulations and procedures were conversed.
