Efforts to Provide Facilities and Better Services to Private Sector Members

The fourth session of leadership committee of the country's Private Sector Support Fund was held today morning. The meeting chaired by Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, and attended by committee members, comprised of private sector members as well as representatives from related institutions.
In this meeting beside presenting the meeting report and decisions of the technical committee, discussions were made regarding topics including; hiring three individuals for technical and executive positions, specifying 10 projects which is going to be funded by the PSSF during a fiscal year, practical activities of leadership committee, building trust, speeding up activities, establishing complex within ports, establishing cold storages in 7 zones, financial support of building export processing zones as well as office for technical team within the ministry.
The meeting concluded with approving the establishing complex in ports, office for technical team within the ministry of industry and commerce for the purpose of consistent working and establishing cold storages in 7 zones of the country by the members of the committee. Therefore, the technical committee was assigned to work on the above-mentioned matters approved by the committee.
Further in the meeting, the members of the Private Sector Support Fund resolved that the surrounding walls, design and substructure of the exports process zones should be funded from the budget of Private Sector Support Fund.
