History of Herat Domestic Industries and Products Exhibition

Herat province with its suitable geographical location, transportation lines, the existence of two major commercial ports, relative security, natural energy resources, professional staff, the opening of lapis lazuli transit road, national TAPI project, the existence of reserves and mines is of special economic importance.

Herat Industrial Park, among the important economic centers of the country, has been able to receive all domestic and foreign investors and more than hundreds of manufacturing and industrial factories in this park have economic and production activities, besides, Herat has been in a suitable commercial position since ancient times and has been a trade route and trade-economic connection point of Asian countries with Europe, which is why Herat province is one of the most important economic and production centers of the country.

Due to the economic importance of Herat province, the "Herat Domestic Industries and Products Exhibition" has been held since 2015:

1.            exhibition in 2015 with the participation of high-ranking officials of the government and the honorable Anwarul Haq Ahadi, then Minister of Industry and Commerce;

2.            exhibition in 2016 with the participation of senior government officials and Mr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, Minister of Industry and Commerce;

3.            exhibition in 2017 with the participation of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the then Chief Executive Officer, and other central and provincial officials;

4.            exhibition in 2018 with the presence of Mr. Mohammad Sarwar Danish, the second vice president;

5.            exhibition in 2019 with the presence of Mr. Hamdullah Moheb, National Security Advisor and other officials;

6.         and the 6th exhibition of domestic industries and products of Herat province was inaugurated today with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Faizi Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce.
