Holding a consultative meeting on the APTTA agreement in Kandahar province

A consultative meeting on the necessary amendments to the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit and Trade Agreement (APTTA) was held in Kandahar with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, MPs, Kandahar Deputy Governor, representatives of the private sector and representatives of Kandahar industrialists and traders.
Mr. Ghoryani MoIC Minister traveled to Kandahar province to attend the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, he said, our goal is to receive the views and suggestions of Kandahar industrialists and traders and the southern part of the country in amending the APTTA agreement.
Mr. Ghoryani also added, efforts are underway to amend the APTTA agreement between the technical groups of the two countries, the views and suggestions of the private sector, the inclusion of these ideas in the new APTTA agreement are very important and valuable for the leadership of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
During the meeting, Deputy Governor of Kandahar, MPs, representatives of the private sector and representatives of Kandahar businessmen and industrialists, expressed their satisfaction with the amendment of the APTTA Agreement, and shared their views and proposals with the MoIC leadership.
During his visit to Kandahar province, the Minister of Industry and Commerce is also scheduled to meet with industrialists and businessmen of the province and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the private sector in this province.
