Investment increment in a flour Plant in Kandahar province

April 8, 2021

The Afghan Mirwais Flour Plant, located in the Shurandam Industrial Park in Kandahar Province, has increased its investment in this sector to $ 6 million.

This Plant, which started its activity in 1397 with an initial investment of 1 million Afghanis, has now expanded its production level by increasing its investment.

Mirwais Afghan Plant has a production capacity of 60 tons of flour per day and has provided employment for 30 residents of Kandahar province.

The mentioned Plant supplies the required wheat from inside and outside the country, sells the produced flour in Kandahar and other neighboring provinces.

By setting tariffs on raw materials and machinery needed by the country's manufacturing industries, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce provides room for the growth and development of industry and works in line with Afghanistan's self-sufficiency, along with the joint private sector.
