Investment in the production and processing of rose water and perfume in Nangarhar province

A rose water and perfume production plant operating in Nangarhar province has increased its investment in this sector.

The Afghan Roz plant, which started operating in 2013 with an initial investment of 130.000 Afghanis in the production of rose water and perfume, has now increased its investment to 1.3 million Afghanis.

The plant supplies roses from the Achin, Darai Noor, and Spinghar districts of the province; it has a daily production capacity of three to six tons of rose water and has created jobs for dozens.

 Last year, the Afghan rose water and perfume plant obtained 100.000 liters of rose water from 110.000 tons of rose water and exported its products to several foreign countries.

Rose Flower, due to its therapeutic properties, is used in modern and traditional medicine and cosmetics.
