Minister of Industry and Commerce: I call on investors to invest in the Kandahar textile enterprise

H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, during his visit to Kandahar province; visited the Kandahar Yarn-Textile Enterprise and suggested private sector invest in reactivating the enterprise.
The visit was attended by representatives of the private sector, parliament members, MoIC employees, and representatives of industrialists, traders, and investors in Kandahar.
Highlighting the reactivation of state-owned enterprises, Mr. Ghoryani said, Kandahar Yarn-Textile Enterprise would be reactivated by solving its problems and investing in the private sector, and by modernizing its machinery, it would become a lucrative and employment-generating enterprise for the people.
Mr. Ghoryani added, a detailed study of the current situation of the Kandahar yarn textile enterprise should be carried out, and after reviewing, the modernization of the machinery of this enterprise and how to invest in the private sector, accurate decisions will be made.
Kandahar Yarn-Textile Enterprise is one of the largest yarn and cotton fabric factories in the country, and now the MoIC is striving to reactivate this enterprise with private sector investment.
