Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets the Minister of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Tajikistan

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and the accompanying delegation met with the Minister of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Shir Ali Kabir,, and discussed joint cooperation in the fields of industrial growth and trade transit development.

Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC Minister, while appreciating the hospitality and invitation of Mr. Shir Ali Kabir, described the relations between the two countries as long-standing and friendly and said, the history of these two countries has been based on friendship, intimacy, and honesty.

Mr. Ghoryani briefed the Minister of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Tajikistan on the progress of Afghanistan's industry and the increase of industrial factories and stated that the country is ready to work with Tajik industrialists and investors.

The meeting also discussed the preparation of a specific roadmap for improving bilateral trade and its implementation mechanism to solve the problems of industrialists and traders of the two countries.

Mr. Shir Ali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Tajikistan assessed the visit of the Minister of Industry and Commerce of IR of Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation as a ground for a positive change in trade relations and increased cooperation between the two countries.

In the conclusion, both sides pledged to increase economic, industrial, and trade-transit cooperation between the two countries.
