Participation of Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce in National Economic, Financial and Budget Committee of the Senate Meeting

Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, along with the director-general of policy and trade services, the director-general of industrial parks and industry, and other directors of the Ministry attended a meeting of the National Economy, Finance and Budget Commission of the Senate.
In this meeting, questions about the problems of national businessmen, APTTA agreement, the number of damages caused to traders by fire in the commercial port of Islam-Qala in Herat province (difference of 310 cars and containers in the report of the government delegation to Herat province and information of Herat security agencies) and the payment of compensation by the government, the reduction of government revenues from the testing of oil and liquefied petroleum gas by the company (TCRC) was proposed by the leadership of the commission.
Mr. Binshah, provided detailed answers to each of the questions raised by the commission, adding that the ministry provides the necessary facilities for the private sector.
Concluding, the chairman and members of the commission were satisfied with the explanations provided by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce and the and it was emphasized that the draft of the new APTTA agreement, the new draft of the Investment Protection Law, a copy of the report on the fire in Islam-Qala port submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to the President and information about the movement of trucks in the of Torkham and Spin Boldak ports.
It was also decided to discuss the compensation of national traders in the Islam-Qala port and the (TCRC) company issue in the next meetings of the commission.
