Carpet Exports will increase next year

KABUL- H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce in a meeting with the leadership of the Carpet Producers and Exporters Union, stressed that with the new programs of Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the volume of carpet exports will increase significantly compared to previous years.

Mr. Ghoryani added, according to the proposal of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the approval of the President office, next year, a 6% subsidy will be provided for the carpets export, which will have a tremendous effect on the export of this item.

Referring to the carpets export, MoIC Minister said, the main market for carpets in the world is Germany and this ministry has sent the proposal of trade attaché to the President, which also has a significant impact on the country's carpet exports.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce also said, the decisions on the carpet residential-industrial parks will be determined in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, and that practical work will begin soon.

In this meeting, Mr. Ali Saberi, Project Manager of carpet residential-industrial parks, said, due to the efforts of the officials of the Ministries of Industry and Commerce and Urban Development and Land, the practical work of these parks will begin soon.

Meanwhile, the Carpet Producers and Exporters Union emphasizes that considering the 6% subsidy for the carpets export and with the start of practical work of carpet residential-industrial parks, the production and export of carpets in the country will increase dramatically.
