Investment Increment in the marble sector in Maidan Wardak Province

A marble production and processing plant in Maidan Wardak province has increased its investment to $500.000.
This plant started its activity in 2003 with an initial capital of $100.000 in Behsud district and has provided jobs for dozens.
The plant has the capacity to produce and process 300 tons of marble in 24 hours.
Maidan Wardak marble plant sells its products to Kabul, Kunduz, Balkh, Zabul, Kandahar, Ghazni, Farah, Parwan, and Panjshir provinces.
The officials of this plant said, by providing peace and security throughout the country, they are ready to increase their investment in this sector and provide more job opportunities.
