Meeting of the Commission for the Prevention of Production, Import, Supply of Poor, Expired and Counterfeit Goods

The meeting of the Commission for the prevention of production, import, supply of low quality, expired, and counterfeit goods was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, and with the participation of representatives of government institutions and the private sector.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Binshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, said it is very important for the Government to study the market situation and control the price of food and other stuff.

Mr. Binshah also added, the problems facing the commission and its investigations of the market situation will be solved and the commission should make serious visits to the market.

The mentioned Commission has been created based on Article 28 of the Consumer Protection Law under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in 1396 and has ten government departments and private sector members.
