MoIC Holds A Consulting Meeting with Private Sector

Acting  Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, held an online consulting meeting with respected members of private sector.  The meeting aimed at Afghanistan’s active participation and showcasing the country’s high-quality products at the Kazan International Halal Exhibition in Russian Federation, as well as holding an exhibition of Afghanistan products in Moscow city.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the participation of company directors and union members to showcase valuable products of Afghanistan and market them. Topics also included financial costs and the designated area for Afghanistan products at Kazan Halal Exhibition.

The private sector representatives welcomed the meeting and, in support of Afghanistan's strong and enthusiastic participation in both Kazan Halal Exhibition and the exhibition planned to be held in Moscow, requested that, prior to the Afghanistan delegation's trip to Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce should conduct an awareness seminar for participants. They also suggested that the company brochures be reviewed and standardized.

Mr. Alhaj Azizi, while stressing Afghanistan’s active participation in exhibitions to promote the country’s products and open up marketing opportunities, called on private sector to share its insights, suggestions, and feedback with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce via communication groups to ensure the effective participation of Afghanistan  in Kazan Halal Exhibition and the planned exhibition in Moscow.
