MoIC Signes MoUs Totally Worth Over $1.5 Million with 12 Institutions

Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honourable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, signed cooperation agreements with 12 nongovernmental institutions, aimed at supporting and strengthening the country's entrepreneurship sector.
Stressing the Islamic Emirate's policy and having a practical approach to project implementation, Mr. Azizi stated that the ministry has always strived to facilitate and expedite the necessary documentation to encourage and accelerate entrepreneurs' work processes. He also requested them to prioritize migrants while presenting project proposals to financial supporters.
The said institutions are supposed to implement projects with a total value of $1,553,180 in 12 provinces. The projects include capacity building, financial support of income-generating initiatives for families, providing training in design and small business management, improving access to livelihood opportunities for returnees, carpet manufacturing, and graphic design training for entrepreneurs.
It is noteworthy that, 1,007 people will directly benefit from such projects in Kunduz, Logar, Faryab, Nangarhar, Kabul, Badakhshan, Bamyan, Herat, and Takhar provinces.
