Operation of three production plants worth 10 million US dollars in Herat province

Three production plants with several separate production lines in the industrial park of Herat province were inaugurated and put into operation with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Sayed Wahid Qatali, Governor of Herat Province, MPs, and representatives of the private sector.
These plants have started investing $10.000000 in the dairy, ice cream, cheese, and biscuit production sectors in Herat Industrial Park and have provided jobs for 500 people.
Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce said the IR of Afghanistan leadership and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce welcomes the investment of these companies in various sectors.
Mr. Ghoryani added, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has provided all the necessary grounds to attract investments in various sectors and seeks to solve the problems of the private sector.
Mr. Sayed Wahid Qatali, the governor of Herat province, at the inauguration ceremony of the companies said, the officials of Herat province have solved the security problems of the private sector.
Mr. Ghoryani also visited a pharmaceutical plant in the industrial park of Herat province, which was built with the investment of the private sector, and this plant will be put into operation next week.
The industrial park of Herat province is one of the most important industrial parks in the country, in which more than three hundred industrial-production plants are engaged in various sectors, and the field of work has been favorable for nearly forty thousand people.
Several manufacturing plants in Kandahar and Kabul provinces are also scheduled to be inaugurated by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, parliament members, and the private sector during the week to support domestic industries.
