Afghanistan-Tajikistan Joint Trade Summit in Dushanbe

Afghanistan-Tajikistan Joint Trade Summit was held in Dushanbe with the participation of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying delegation, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Minister of Transport, Minister of Industry and New Technology, and representatives of the private sector Economic, trade-transit.
Emphasizing the expansion of economic-trade-transit relations between the two countries, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce said, solving the problems of Afghan businessmen in Tajikistan could help increase the level of trade cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Ghoryani added, there are opportunities for investment in various sectors in Afghanistan and called on Tajik investors to invest in these sectors.
At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Osman zadah Osman Ali, also emphasized the expansion of economic, trade, and transit cooperation between the two countries, and promised to solve all the problems of Afghan businessmen in his country.
Mr. Osman zadah added, the increase in trade-transit trade between the two countries will pave the way for the economic growth of Afghanistan-Tajikistan.
At the Afghanistan-Tajikistan Joint Trade Summit, the Ministers of Transport, Industry and New Technology and representatives of the private sector of the Republic of Tajikistan and the private sector of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan stressed the need to expand economic, trade, and transit cooperation between the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the necessary information on investment opportunities in Afghanistan was presented to Tajik investors and Afghan businessmen also reached an agreement with Tajik businessmen in separate business meetings on increasing imports and exports.
