Consumer Protection, Prevention of Hoarding and Overselling Commission Visits Markets of Nangarhar, Bamyan, and Takhar Provinces

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce visited the markets for primary materials in Nangarhar, Bamyan, and Takhar provinces to inspect the market situation.
According to the Takhar Provincial Commission; The foodstuff is sufficient in the markets and the rates have returned to normal.
The sellers of foodstuff dealers in Takhar province assured the representatives of the commission that in any case, they are not willing to hoard or oversell the primary materials.
Moreover, in the inspection of the Bamyan Provincial Commission, six tons of expired materials were collected from the markets of Bamyan city, and after the court decree of this province, they were set on fire in the presence of the executive board and the media.
On the other hand, as a result of the investigation of the Nangarhar Provincial Commission, 23 cartons of different food and non-food items of poor quality and expired materials were collected from the markets of Jalalabad city.
Commission for protection of consumption, prohibition of hoarding, expensive sale, import and supply of expired, poor quality, and counterfeit goods, conducts regular surveys to prevent hoarding and overselling in the markets.
