Discussion Holds Regarding the Activation and Establishing New Cold Storage Facilities

A meeting on the activation and establishment of new standardized cold storage facilities was held in accordance with the decision of the extraordinary session of the IEA's Economic Commission, led by acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, with the participation of the acting Ministry of Economy, honorable Mr. Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, the acting Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, honorable, Mr. Mawlawi Attaullah Omari, the General Director of State-Owned Companies, honorable Mr. Mawlawi Ahmad Jan Bilal, General Executive Director of DeAfghanistan Brishna Shirkat Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, and the Investment Facilitation Director of General Directorate of Administrative Office of the government honorable Mr. Mawlawi engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid.

During the meeting, considering the extraordinary session of the Economic Commission and the country's need for cold storage facilities, there was a discussion and exchange of views regarding the activation of existing cold storages and the establishment of new and standardized ones in various provinces.

At the conclusion, decision was made regarding the discussed topic, whereas the final report will be presented to the IEA's esteemed Economic Commission accordingly.
