Holding a consultative meeting with the private sector on determining the temporary fee for transport vehicles

A consultative meeting was held with the private sector on determining the temporary vehicle entry fee chaired by Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Legal Unit of the president office
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani said, a series of consultative meetings with the private sector on the issues of this sector are underway to provide the necessary facilities for them, and these meetings will continue.
Mr. Ghoryani added, in accordance with the strategic economic goals of His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the goods transport vehicles from the territory of Afghanistan is in the interest of the country's economy and therefore the cost of transporting trucks should be reduced according to the transport sector.
In this meeting, the Deputy Minister for Policy and Technical Affairs of the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Khanjan Alokozai, Mr. Shirbaz Kaminzadah, representatives of the transport sector, the legal unit of the president office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared their views and suggestions on reducing the cost of temporary entry of commercial trucks into Afghanistan.
At this meeting, it was decided that the cost of temporary entry of commercial freight vehicles to the territory of Afghanistan, for each freight vehicle is $ 10 per month and $ 120 per year for each truck and was approved by the participants.
