Holding an Introductory Webinar on Investment Regulations and Registration of Foreign Companies in Afghanistan for Iranian Trade Companies

A Webinar meeting was held to Introduce investment regulations, registration of trade companies and foreign investment in Afghanistan, and introduction of Afghanistan export goods for dozens of Iranian trading companies in coordination with the trade attaché of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Tehran.
In this webinar, Mr. Ibrahim Shams, Director-General ACBRIP, Dr. Humayoon Rahimi, Acting Director of the World Trade Organization, Mr. Mohammad Mehdi Mohammadi, Acting Director of Investment Development, and Mr. Ahmad Saeed Sadat, trade attaché of Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Tehran, provided complete information on how to obtain a business license by foreigners, the rules and investment opportunities in Afghanistan, the benefits of Afghanistan's membership in the World Trade Organization for foreign companies, as well as familiarity with the Afghanistan market and export products for Iranian companies.
The representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Iranian companies also discussed the establishment of joint ventures to establish information technology parks in Afghanistan.
In this online meeting, Mr. Nusratullah Jahangard, Special Representative of the President of Iran for e-Government, while thanking the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for holding this webinar, and announced that the Iranian companies are fully prepared to build information technology parks in different cities of Afghanistan in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce as well as the private sector of the two countries.
Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in coordination with the trade attaches, is trying to introduce the country's export products in different countries, and provide information to foreign investors about the investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
