Mr. Nisar Ahmad Faizi Ghoryani, Candidate and Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in his office.

At this meeting, the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce showed gratitude the friend country for their cooperation in improving the situation of industry and commerce over the past few years.

During the meeting, Mr. Ovezov Hoja Sapargeldiyewich, Ambassador of Turkmenistan, while congratulating the nomination of Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani as Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, informed the Government of Afghanistan of the continuing cooperation of Turkmenistan.

Mr. Sapargeldiyewich also proclaimed the practical start of TAPI project in Herat province in the near future.

Meanwhile, it was decided that; the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan would talk to the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Turkmenistan via video conference.

The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan, similarly requested the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to invite a number of Turkmen businessmen and investors to the exhibitions which is scheduled to happen in Afghanistan.
