Inauguration of a Single Center for the Process of Documenting Export Products in Kandahar province

The single-center for the process of documenting the country's export products in Kandahar province with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Hashmatullah Ghafouri, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Irrigation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Mr. Jalaluddin Saeed, Advisor to the President on Export Affairs was inaugurated and put into operation.
Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC Minister, at the inauguration ceremony of the center, appreciating the constant support of His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani for the industry and increasing the country's exports, said the center is established for the first time in Kandahar province.
Mr. Ghoryani added, to increase the exports, soon, single centers will be established in important economic-commercial zones of the country for the process of documenting export products.
Referring to the increase in exports of the domestic products, the MoIC Minister said, the ministry, in cooperation with government agencies, the private sector, and international donors, is trying to obtain international certificates for domestic products, especially the country's agricultural products.
Moreover, Mr. Ghoryani added, by obtaining international certificates for Afghanistan's export products, the country's exports will increase to $ 2 billion this year.
Besides, at the inauguration of the center, Mr. Hashmatullah Ghafouri, Deputy Minister of MAIL, said, the country's agricultural production is increasing and the establishment of such centers in important economic and commercial zones to increase agricultural exports is very important.
During the ceremony, the Governor of Kandahar, the President's Adviser on Export Affairs, and representatives of the private sector spoke about the benefits of establishing this center and supporting the increase in exports and stressed that more grounds and facilities should be provided to increase Afghanistan's exports.
