Inspecting market situation in Kunduz and Takhar Provinces

The Commission for the Prevention of Production, Import and Supply of Low-Quality, Expired and Counterfeit Goods in Kunduz and Takhar Provinces, conducted price surveys in the markets to control prices and identify substandardly and expired foodstuff.

During the commission's visit from Taleqan city markets, about ten shops were closed due to overselling and overcrowding, and their owners were introduced to the judiciary.

The commission was set up under the MoIC leadership with ten other departments following the Consumer Protection Law in the capital and provinces and conducts regular reviews of market conditions to control food, consumption, and other poor quality and expired foodstuff in the capital and other provinces.
