Meeting of the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan with the Prime Minister of Pakistan

Respected Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and accompanying delegation met with Honored Mr. Imran Khan Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in Islamabad.
During this meeting, Mr. Imran Khan Prime Minister of Pakistan welcomed the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying delegation and reminding of the brotherly relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, emphasizing on the continues support in peace and stability of Afghanistan.
The PM of Pakistan also stressed the need for a political agreement through negotiations and said, peace in Afghanistan is in the interest of the whole region by strengthening regional ties and creating new opportunities for trade and economic cooperation, and emphasizing that Pakistan supports the increase of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan thanked the Government of Pakistan for their support in increasing trade and economic relations and called for resolving the problems of traders at border customs and facilitating transit routes between the two countries.
Respected Mr. Ghoryani also described the holding of the Pakistan-Afghanistan Trade and Investment Forum 2020 a successful step and said, this forum helped to resolve some of the of Afghan businessmen problems with Pakistan and added, the Government of Afghanistan supports the increase of trade and economic relations with Pakistan and has provided facilities for businessmen.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Dawood Minister of Commerce and Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Najibullah Naser Head of the Health, Sports and Youth Affairs Committee of the Afghanistan Parliament and Rahimullah Qatra Afghanistan Ambassador in Islamabad.
Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani MoIC Acting Minister has been in Islamabad, Pakistan for three days and met with the Senate, Deputy of Representatives, Minister of Commerce and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to resolve the problems of businessmen and the private sector.
