Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets the Ambassador and Special Representative of Afghanistan in the Republic of India

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce met with Mr. Farid Mamondzai, Ambassador and Special Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi, India in his office and discussed the opportunities for expanding Afghanistan-India trade relations and Afghan-Indian businessmen investing in various sectors.
Mr. Farid Mamondzai, Ambassador and Special Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in New Delhi, said, there are many opportunities for Afghan investors in India as well as for Indian investors to invest in Afghanistan.
Mr. Mamondzai added, the Afghanistan Embassy in India is trying to encourage Indian investors to invest in various sectors in Afghanistan and in this regard, the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is key to this opportunity.
Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC Minister welcomed the efforts of the Embassy and Special Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in India to encourage Indian investment in Afghanistan and said, the Ministry is ready for any cooperation with the Embassy in India.
Mr. Ghoryani also added the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has provided additional information on investment opportunities in Afghanistan and a copy of it to provide Indian investors and familiarize them with investment opportunities and facilities in Afghanistan to the Embassy.
The Republic of India in South Asia is one of Afghanistan's most important economic and trade partners in the region, and this trade relationship and joint investment of Afghan-Indian businessmen to invest in various sectors have a special place for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
