Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets with the Director-General of the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA)

Mr.  Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce met with Mr. Zabihullah Ziyarmal, Director General of the Afghanistan National Standards Authority, in his office to discuss joint cooperation on regulation and standardization of imported products and export items of Afghanistan.

While congratulating him on his election as the Director-General of the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA), Mr. Ghoryani, emphasized the joint cooperation between ANSA and MoIC to provide the necessary facilities for standardization of imported products and Afghanistan's exports to the world.

Mr. Ghoryani added, MoIC is willing to cooperate with the ANSA for Standardization in all stages of testing and issuing laboratory licenses for imported and exported products.

During the meeting, Mr. Ziyarmal said, I am familiar with the problems of industrialists and traders with my work experience in the private sector of the country, and soon, with the cooperation of MoIC, I will solve these problems step by step.

Concluding, both sides emphasized the joint cooperation between the MoIC and ANSA to standardize the country's imports and exports.
