MoIC Signs MoUs with 15 NGOs to Support Entrepreneurial Sector

Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, Signed Memorandum of Understanding with 15 national and international NGOs today morning, aimed to support the country's entrepreneurial sector.
The Leadership of the Ministry, stressing the legitimately bread winning and honesty, stated that during project implementation the right shall be given to the rightful owner.
It is expected that the above mentioned NGOs will implement development, and educational projects with a total value of USD 12,475,406/, especially in the areas of developing entrepreneurship and basic skills, growth of the carpet industry in the country, jewelry industry, handicrafts, market assessment, identifying challenges facing small and medium enterprises, training poor families in the production of homemade dairy products and vegetable processing, as well as providing them with necessary equipment and materials, technical training in packaging of pistachio and other necessary materials, financial literacy, equipping and purchasing pistachio machines, branding and marketing for pistachio products, and installing solar systems for a number of eight small and medium businesses within 16 provinces in the entrepreneurship sector.
It is noteworthy that 17,673 people will directly benefit from these projects in Kabul, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Balkh, Kandahar, Logar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Badghis, Faryab, Jowzjan, Nangarhar, Takhar, and Bamyan Provinces.
