President Supports (APTTCA) Talks

KABUL- His Excellency Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in two separate meetings with Respected Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce and head of delegation of the Government-Private Sector of Afghanistan in a series of meetings of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Trade and Transit Authority Coordination Committee (APTTCA) welcomed these talks and announced his support.
Earlier, the visit of the Afghan delegation to the 8th round (APTTCA) meeting in Islamabad, His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in a meeting expressing his support for the delegation said, your negotiations with Pakistan should be based on principles and mutual interests.
Wishing success to the negotiating team of the 8TH (APTTCA), His Excellency the President said, Afghanistan's trade and transit relations are based on internationally accepted standards.
In the last two months, officials from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and officials from the Ministry of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have held three meetings in Islamabad and Kabul to resolve trade-transit and customs problems.
As result of talks between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, most of the Afghan businessmen problems have been resolved
With the start of the 8th round meeting of (APTTCA) agreement in Islamabad, the Afghan negotiating committee chaired by H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce is striving to resolve all trade, transit and customs problems of Afghan traders with Pakistan and APTTA agreement will also be finalized.
