Afghanistan Production Industry Exhibition with the presence of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Director of the Afghanistan Chambers Federation, Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Director of the Chamber of Industries and Mines, government officials, industrialists, investors and businesswomen in the permanent exhibition area of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce was opened.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Mr. Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, reminded of self-sufficiency in 48 sectors and semi-self-sufficiency in 12 other sectors in Afghanistan's industrial parks and called this day a proud day for industrialists and people.

Appreciating the efforts of Afghan industrialists, Mr. Ghoryani said, with the support of the President and the Ministry's tariff protection policy, we have been able to increase the production and export of Afghan products.

Emphasizing the support and use of domestic products, the Minister of Industry and Commerce said, during this expo, 200 booths displayed domestic products.

In another part of his speech, Mr. Ghoryani said, during his visits to Pul-e-Charkhi industrial parks in Kabul and Herat; More than $ 50 million new investments have been made.

Referring to the ministry's support programs and the president’s office, the Minister of Industry and Commerce said, the MoIC will create several permanent markets in the United States and Europe to sell the domestic products, and at the end of his speech, he thanked the country's private sector

Mr. Shirbaz Kaminzadah, General Director of the Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines, who attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, said, a few years ago, our Production industry had become self-sufficient in 12 to 16 items, but today with government support and comprehensive plans from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce; The country's Production industry has reached self-sufficiency in 60 items.

Mr. Kaminzadah, while appreciating the private sector investments, asked the citizens of the country to purchase and support domestic products; To provide more grounds for economic growth and development of the country.

Mr. Mohammad Ismail Ghazanfar, Director of the Afghanistan Chambers Federation, during the ceremony, said, the only way to prosper and develop Afghanistan's economy is through industry, and called on the country's current private banks to support the country's industrialization process.

At the ceremony, Mr. Mohammad Yunus Mohmand, Deputy Minister of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, thanked the organizers for holding the exhibition and said that despite some problems, they invest.

On the other hand, Parvaresh Oryakhil, Deputy Minister of Afghanistan Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industries, said that women, industrialists, and businessmen are actively participating in the exhibition and showcasing their products, which are invested in small, medium, and large sectors.

Dr. Seyed Ali Kazemi, Deputy Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of the Ministry of Government in Parliamentary Affairs, also praised the recent activities of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in the development of industry and trade, saying that, by supporting domestic production; The ground for Afghanistan's self-sufficiency is being prepared.

Mr. Khanjan AlKozay, vice president of the Afghanistan Chambers Federation, also thanked the country's industrialists and said, investors, are by the side of the people and invest in any situation.

Mr. AlKozay added that the country's production industries will become self-sufficient shortly with the cooperation of the government and the private sector.

Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC Minister, together with government and private sector officials, visited the Afghanistan Production Industry Exhibition booths and talked to them about their products.

This exhibition was held on the occasion of the beginning of the industry week, investment and support of domestic products by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to introduce 60 items of goods to which the country's Production industry has become self-sufficient.

The MoIC leadership inaugurates several production plants built in Kandahar, Nangarhar, Balkh, Herat, and Kabul industrial parks during the Industrial, Investment, and Production Support Week.
