Twenty artificial respiration devices and 5,000 Serum Bags of Herat private sector aids for COVID-19 Hospital

Based on the request of Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce, from the private sector to assist COVID-19 hospitals; Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment donated 20 artificial respiration devices and 5,000 serum bags to COVID-19 for Herat Hospital.
The total value of the aid is about $ 50,000, which was handed over to Herat public health officials.
Mr. Yonus Qazizada, Head of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said, in the current situation where the third wave of the coronavirus has severely damaged the people, the existence of a ventilator (BIPP) can make it much easier for patients.
Mr. Qazizada added, these 20 devices and 5000 serum bags were purchased in coordination with the Public Health Department of the province with the financial support of members of the leadership of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment and several businessmen and donated to the COVID-19 section of Herat hospital.
Dr. Abdul Hakim Tamana, Director of Public Health of Herat Province, said, in the current situation, these devices can help the health sector very well.
Following the request for assistance to COVID-19 hospitals by Mr. Ghoryani, MoIC minister, the country's businessmen have so far, provided various assistance in the areas of supplying oxygen capsules, medicine, and artificial respiration devices to these hospitals.
