Visit of Minister of Industry and Commerce from new and modern laboratory equipment of Afghanistan Raisin, Fruits, Vegetables and Medicinal Plants Exports Development Agency

H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce and his accompanying delegation visited the new and modern laboratory equipment of the Afghanistan Raisin, Fruits, Vegetables and Medicinal Plants Export Development Agency and discussed the laboratory opportunities and challenges of Afghanistan's export products.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce, while inspecting the new and modern laboratory equipment of the mentioned agency said, providing services and laboratory certification of Afghanistan's export products, especially dried fruits, fresh fruits and medicinal plants is an important step to increase the country's exports.
Mr. Ghoryani also promised any cooperation in improving the provision of services and laboratory certification and attracting investment in the purchase of new laboratory equipment, and providing better services to exporters through this authority to the leadership of the raisins, fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants Export Development Agency.
Moreover, Mr.  Sayed Azim Mustafa Hashemi, head of the Afghanistan Raisin, Fruits, Vegetables and Medicinal Plants Export Development Agency, welcomed the Minister of Industry and Commerce’s visit, saying that, we are ready to provide any services and laboratory certification to the private sector in accordance with the international standards. The mentioned authority, provides the necessary services to the private sector with new and modern laboratory equipment and technical capacities in accordance with the national and international standards ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO IEC 17025 2005 and providing a quality certificate according to the demands of global markets.
At the end of the visit, the leadership of mentioned authority presented a plaque of appreciation to H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani for his successful work in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
