The 1st technical and consultative meeting of the Afghanistan National Trade Policy Roadmap and Mechanism was held

The meeting of the Roadmap and Mechanism for the Implementation of Afghanistan National Trade Policy was held at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with the participation of representatives of government organizations, the private sector, and representative of the Executive Committee for Private Sector Development (PRISEC).

In this meeting, the draft roadmap and mechanism for implementing the Afghanistan National Trade Policy, which was prepared and arranged by the Development and implementation of the national policy Directorate was discussed.

Government representatives and the private sector involved in the Afghanistan National Trade Policy also shared their views on the draft roadmap and the mechanism for implementing the Afghanistan National Trade Policy with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The National Trade Policy is one of the trade protection policies which was developed in 2019 and its implementation is expected from 2019-2023.

This policy is based on the growth of the market economy, the main objectives of which are to accelerate the process of economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction, and the draft roadmap will help to better and more effectively implement this policy.
