Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets Belarusian Non-Resident Ambassador

KABUL – Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce H.E. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani met with non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Afghanistan Mr. Oleg Ivanov and discussed the expansion of trade cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting similarly focused on how to export Afghanistan products to Belarus, facilitate import of industrial-machinery and its packaging, spare parts, transfer of technical and practical knowledge from Belarus to improve the industrial sector, trade fair in Kabul and Minsk in order to market the two countries' products and increasing the volume of trade.
Mr. Oleg Ivanov briefed the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce on the upcoming visit to Kabul, Herat and Balkh industrial parks and being informed about the needs of Afghan industrialists and investors in the field of industrial-machinery.
Appreciating the meeting with Mr. Ivanov, H.E. Ghoryani said: "In the near future, a delegation from the Ministry of Industry Commerce of Afghanistan will travel to the Republic of Belarus to identify markets for the country's products, negotiate with Belarusian traders, investors and companies and purchase the required industrial-machinery."
At the conclude, both sides expressed hope for the future of industrial-trade relations and will have more meetings aiming expanding of cooperation between Afghanistan and Belarus.
