Afghanistan High-level delegation meets with officials of the Republic of Tajikistan

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan High-Level Delegation led by Mohammad Hanif Atmar, candidate for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Karim Malikyar, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce and accompanying delegation have met with the H.E President Imam Ali Rahman and Qaher Rasolzada Prime Minister of Tajikistan on 17-18 September.
During this meeting, the peace process, cultural exchange, economic cooperation, strengthening Afghanistan's position in regional cooperation were discussed, and it was similarly agreed that, the two countries' sectoral institutions will plan and implement practical projects in economy, energy, trade and transit fields jointly.
At the end, it was emphasized that power generation, transit and transmission projects, which play a key role in connecting the region and strengthening Afghanistan's position in the region; will be the priority of bilateral cooperation.
