Afghanistan's new ambassador and permanent representative presents credentials to WTO

As per the suggestion of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and with the approval of the President office, Mr. Sayed Ramin Zaiwari has been appointed as the new Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the World Trade Organization. During a ceremony, he presented his credentials to Alan Wm. Wolff, Vice President of the organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

After receiving Mr. Zaiwari’s credentials, Mr. Wolff congratulated him on his appointment as Afghanistan's new Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization and wished him success.

Afghanistan became a member of the World Trade Organization in late 2015, and Mr. Zaiwari is the 2nd ambassador to the WTO after Mr. Mohammad Qurban Haqjo.
