Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets with the Afghanistan Industrialist’s Association

Mr. Mohammad Sulaiman Benshah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with the Industrialist's Association Leadership and discussed the opportunities and challenges of industrialists and manufacturers of Kabul industrial parks.
During the meeting, the association's board shared the problems of industrialists as lack of land for industrialists, environmental problems, lack of electricity, technical-professional labor, corruption, etc. with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce.
Mr. Benshah said MoIC is striving to solve these problems as soon as possible.
Mr. Benshah added, transparency is a priority for the MoIC leadership, and all information about the ministry's functions is shared with representatives of the private sector.
Emphasizing transparency in the Ministry's Tariff Committee, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce said, Tariff Committee meetings will be increased to expedite the work of requesting exemption from customs tariffs on raw materials and machinery needed by the industries.
Referring to the solution of the problem of the technical labor force of the country's industries, Mr. Benshah said, the ministry will start a training program for the technical staff of the factory owners in the future with the cooperation of international institutions.
Solving the private sector problems, especially industrialists, is a priority for this ministry, and the ministry has prepared comprehensive plans to solve industrialist problems as soon as possible.
