Establishment of a Trade-Industrial center for women in Faryab province
A trade-industrial center has been built for women entrepreneurs in Maymana city of Faryab province to promote their business.
The aim of this center is to support and encourage women entrepreneurs in Faryab province.
This trade-industrial center is built on three floors; 200 women industrialists and traders are engaged in various sectors in this building.
This center has 60 shops and currently employs women in the fields of handicraft education, health services, restaurant management, cosmetics sales and other sectors.
With the guidance of High Presidency of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, this center was built by the Citizenship Pact Project, which also includes the office of Faryab Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the Women Entrepreneurs' Union.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is committed to supporting the women in industry, trade and profession, and will provide the opportunities for the development of their business.
It is noteworthy that most women industrialists are engaged in the production of several types of handicrafts in this province
